I thought that the Knitter's Dictionary, while suitable and helpful, lacked visuals and most of the content was things I already knew. However, it could be very useful to a beginner looking to have some handy knowledge on the subject. I'd say that I would have definitely appreciated the book more as a beginner. The visual on the yarn label also seems helpful for anyone who might need the information.
However, I think that the book needs to have more pictures in it since that would make it easier to understand what exactly is being talked about. In addition, there are many abbreviations not mentioned and it would be more handy if a more comprehensive list was given. However, I do think it does have some merits and a degree of usefulness.
