A go-to helper for your knitting questions!
This diminutive, comprehensive dictionary will be a welcome addition to every knitter's yarn basket. I am a beginning knitter, and found some sections especially helpful, such as how to read a chart, which has been confusing me for some time.
The explanations of techniques were enlightening for me. Often, when reading a pattern, I am unfamiliar with the terms, or understand the process. The explanations included in this dictionary are concise and easy to understand.
The dictionary is interspersed with illustrations and tips, and once I started looking at it, I read every page! I'm keeping this helpful book with my yarn for reference. It's a useful tool for every level of knitter. There were a lot of "a ha!" moments for me! Also, I recommend you look up "yarn barf!
