Where have you been when I was a teenager?

I taught myself how to knight the basics. So when I looked at the pattern that I liked, I tried to figure out the abbreviations and intructions. It was so overwhelming and confusing which I abandoned my project. Haven't touch knitting for a long time but I can still remember feeling the needles and knitting when I made the afghans. There just may be hope for me to knit other items!
