I enjoyed this book but not as much as I thought I would. After reading the first impression, I was very intrigued by the plot and I found the characters to be unique and interesting so I was really excited about this one. Once I started reading the entire book I found myself zoning out a little bit. I'm typically more of a thriller reader and this book is definitely more mystery so that is probably why I did not enjoy it as much. I felt like it was a little slow at times but again that is probably due to the fact that it's more of a mystery novel. The author writes beautifully and I was able to picture the characters in my head. Jaq was my favorite character and I was cheering for her throughout the book. If the story was more focused on her, I may have enjoyed it more. I think fans of Robert Galbraith would appreciate this novel. If you like mysteries, than I think this is one for you.
