Judging a book by its cover, this is not one I’d normally reach for. The title and cover give me a stuffy vibe. Yet, once I started reading, it wasn’t as heavy as I anticipated. There’s an interesting assortment of characters, the plot moves along at a good pace with dialog and just the right amount of description and humor. It reminds me somewhat of the Stephanie Plum series - same but different.
