The cover is confusing. It doesn't stand out and would likely fade against the other books. I'm also not crazy about the font used. The synopsis is intriguing. It's not my genre but I might read it as I do love Savannah. As for the excerpt, the writing style is somewhat gritty and I’m not sure how much I'd enjoy the style overall. I wasn't drawn in until the last paragraph of the prologue. Then it got somewhat interesting. The dialogue between the characters didn't feel natural. I guess my main issue is the excerpt doesn't seem very reflective of that potential from the synopsis. I wasn't drawn in but I might give it a try.
