Mysteries and thrillers are not commonly my go-to choice but this one has so many layers and intriguing characters that just jump right off the page, it’s hard not to keep reading. It’s a highly captivating read from the first few lines of text. With such a sense of place and a city steeped in perilous yet beautiful history it’s as intriguing as it is comforting in a way that feels like coming home.
