I was so excited to be able to get my hands on this. Thank you bookish first for the chance to early read this and review it. So Marie Lu is hands down one of my all time favorite writers. Anything she puts out I am absolutely excited for. The Kingdon of Back definetly did jot disappoint. The writing was lyrical (haha see what I did there) and the story premise was incredibly unique. I love the inspiration of Mozzart and Wolfgang. I really liked that this was a sibling story as well. There was a lot of emotional in this book. You saw one of the siblings losing hopes that her dreams of playing music will ever come true but music is what also bonds her to her brother. This book was a page turner and I am so happy to have read it.
