Sneak Peak Review
I've never read anything by Marie Lu before but I've always heard amazing things about her writing. From this sample, I can totally understand why she is so well loved!
Her writing is so unique, it gives a very historical yet whimsical and fantastical feel. I've heard a lot about The Kingdom of Back, and I've seen this cover all over social media; blogs, Instagram, Pinterest etc.
Historical fantasy and historical fiction are two of my favourite genres, and the way this book is written really drew me in to the sample.
I would definitely like to read The Kingdom of Back, and see where the rest of the story goes!
The cover is also beautiful, very simple at first, but with lots of hidden details.
