Once again, Marie Lu did a fantastic job. This novel is one I enjoyed so much!! The plot is very fascinating as it is based around a musician in the 1800's who is restricted to write music because of her gender. She and her father have made a deal that she would only play music until she gets married, and her brother is Wolfgang Mozart. Her brother is encouraged to play and gets much better until someone offers her a chance to make her wish come true. Before I read this I knew little to nothing about the history behind mozart, but Marie Lu did a great job explaining everything. The faerie twist on the novel made it even better. This novel was actually the first one Marie Lu ever began to write, and she put it out after a few other novels. The cover to this book is also great, I think that the name doesn't give a glimse of the novel much, but one you read it it all fits perfectly!
