Loved it
We have all heard of the prodigy Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. However, not many people know that he had an equally talented sister, Nannerl. A sister that Mozart would often perform with. This book is a historical fantasy book based on the Mozart children and the imaginary Kingdom of Back that they created together to pass the time.
I really enjoyed this book. The fact that the characters are based on real people definitely interested me. I was so interested in fact, that when I was done reading it, I did my own research on Nannerl. The author did a wonderful job keeping the integrity of their childhood together. She also did a great job at creating the separate fantasy world of Back. It was so whimsical and fun that I felt like I could close my eyes and be in the Kingdom. All in all, I really loved this story of music, fantasy and the bonds between a brother and a sister.
