First off, the cover of this book was gorgeous, especially for an advanced copy version! The blue really speaks to me and how the story is going to feel, very mellow at times, but then it strikes you oh so fancy!
I really liked the plot, and the characters were easily likable and even understandable. My main focus is if the book doesn't have gripping characters, it's not worth the read. Sure the book plot might be amazing and perhaps even spectacular, but the characters really make the book come to life! Lu's writing style is also very gripping and even beautiful in a way, it just makes the book flow and come to life and even grip me into a new world! I'm currently trying to get the finished copy after reading this beautifully written book.
