I have never been really into classical music or anything classic like that. I received this book in my Owlcrate box and I figured I'd give it a try since it did have fantastical elements involved in the story. I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought! First, the cover is absolutely gorgeous. I love the blues and the tree and it is just stunning. The story itself was slow at times, but it was also fast paced a majority of the time. I loved how much the main character loved her little brother and cared for him. This book was truly about sibling relationship and it was great since you don't really see that many books focusing on that nowadays. I did see how the villain of the story was way before it was revealed to the reader. That part was a bit predictable.
