I really liked this one. It was a powerful story with a lot of twists & turns, one of which absolutely shocked me. At times I more or less knew where it was going but there was always something unexpected! I am embarrassed to say that I had no idea Mozart had a sister. I am very impressed with the research that went into this. I couldn’t really relate to Nannerl most of the time but it was interesting to see how she might have thought & felt. It’s going to be weird the next time I hear a Mozart piece & think “ah, cute little Woferl from that book!”
The writing felt very magical & I could picture the kingdom exactly as it was described. It was a perfect fairy tale. I would love to see it become a screenplay one day.
