I have been a fan of Marie Lu’s writing for years. They’re books I can recommend to anyone and almost everyone loves. This book brings in my love for music.
I’ve played piano for years and the idea of a story about Mozart and his sister immediately drew me in.
The intro was beautiful, almost poetic in the writing and I was drawn in immediately. I love the idea of getting to know a possible version of Mozart and what he might’ve been like. I’m interested to see how the story plays out with his sister and how involved she is in his music.
I feel that music lovers will love this, YA readers, and also anyone who loves the escape that Lu’s writing provides. She brings you into a world that envelopes you and intrigues you and makes you love these characters.
