I was absolutely drawn in by the cover.. the reflective world beneath the first. Though the necklace and the moons in the background.. only appear on the upper half.. implying the second world isn't at all what it seems. Something thinner.. more fragile.. perhaps.
The idea of the forbidden is always intriguing.. especially when what one is allowed to do is based on something as simple as the luck of birth. But to be so close.. to be tempted with everything you want.. potentially at the cost of everything else? The decision would be agonizing.. and I'm so excited to experience that inner conflict in The Kingdom of Back.
