I was wondering what Lu would do with taking on a historical aspect when most of her stories have been so vastly different. However, I'm quite impressed with how this story is going so far. The writing feels lush and magical, and I feel instantly transported back to the 1700s. I'm so intrigued to see what the story dives into further, and I like the feel of it a lot. I can't wait for this one to come out.
