The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu has been on my radar ever since I first saw it. That cover alone is simply stunning. And since I love the author as well, it was basically a given that I'd read it. Then I read the description. And I can honestly say that even if I had never read Marie Lu before, I'd want to read this book.
