I like the blue color of the cover but not so much the design. The maps inside are appealing. I like the nod to Stranger Things. The opening chapter drew me in like it should. I am curious to read this story and see what the author does with it. I was skeptical at first as the website likened it to The Hazel Wood which I did not like but knowing this author's previous works I am not going to let it deter me from trying to read it.
