The Kingdom of Back had me throroughly entranced! I feel for Nannerl, the girl relegated to the shadows, yearning to be seen and known, yet destined to be outshone by her prodigious little brother. Lu's tale reads like a fairly tale, and the Kingdom of Back, of which I got an enticing glimpse, is beautiful and lush, but there is shadow and darkness as well -- a danger tucked within. I am dying to read more!
