I'm a huge fan of Marie Lu's books and I love that she writes different genres! A historical fantasy is not what I expected, but Kingdom of Back centering around Mozart's sister, Nannerl, is a fascinating premise. At eight years old, Nannerl already hopes to be immortalized by her talent in music but finds it just out of her grasp. Add in the magical elements and dreamy writing, and I'm hooked! I am very curious about what direction this story is going in. The cover is stunning, and made much more sense after I had read the excerpt!
