The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu feels like it is going to be a beautiful and magical tale. Her writing is very ethereal, pulling in all of the feel of her worlds and characters is ways that feel both slightly old-fashioned and lyrical. This pulls me right into the story and makes me feel so anticipatory with each turn of the page. I love that this story is about the sister of Mozart, a more obscure character in the shade of a well-known historical figure. There is so much here to unwrap and I am excited to see where the magic takes me!
