This book is so easy to dive into. Marie Lu has been on my radar as an author for awhile, but this is the frost that I opened to read. The cover art intrigued me, and as you read and get your first taste of the kingdom with the forest of upside down trees, I can’t help but want to know why.
Why does he need her help? Why can she picture music written by her father as a forest glade, the magic of her notes painting an image in her mind. Do others beyond her brother get to experience this magic as the book progresses?
