I've been having a lot of five star books lately. And this one is no exception.
Zahru is a Whisperer, able to understand and communicate with animals. All she wants is to see the palace for one night before continuing her daily duties at the stable. Unfortunately, she is thrust into the Crossing, a deadly contest to determine the next ruler.
This book has so many twists and turns that makes the reader engrossed. I found it hard to put the book down. No character is what you expect, and each has multiple depths that I think we still haven't seen all of.
The overall story is interesting and there are no parts that I feel are filled or unneeded. Each part brought new light to the book. I just really want more!!
