Absolutely amazing!!! Beautiful storytelling!
This book was amazing!! I read a beginning excerpt back a few months ago and really enjoyed it. The rest of the book did not disappoint!!
I really enjoyed that the main character isn't this all powerful magician like a lot of books do. The "chosen one" trope gets old especially considering most of us can't relate.
I also loved all the stories and elements added in. I really connected and understood all of the characters. Also, the adventure they go on is very unique to any stories I've read before. The intensity and humor of the story played really well together also.
I really loved all the characters if I'm being honest. Even the "bad" characters were more so troubled than inherently evil.
I'm really excited to read the next book in this series! Also, any future book this author write I'll be quick to buy!
As for genre, this qualifies as Fantasy and YA.
