Starting with the gorgeous violet cover and gold accents I was intrigued. From page one the characters and world around them seemed to shimmer with possibility.
I quite enjoyed the brilliance the characters brought to the story starting with easy banter and mystery. The world too was filled with such potential and I especially loved the way magic was twisted into the mundane setting.
Twists of potions and power helped make the start of this novel even more magical. The descriptions of the setting were vivid and exciting. I can’t wait to read more in the future.
