The Kinder Poison reminds me of several books that involve fantasy and powers namely the Red Queen Series. I absolutely loved that series and I have a feeling Zahru might just be even stronger than Mare was in the Red Queen Series. From the small clip we get to see of The Kinder Poison we already see that she has some type of power to speak to animals it appears, but that's about it. Now I don't know how important that is as a gift in her world, but it seems like a pretty cool one to have.
