OK, I did not realize that this was loosely based on ancient Egypt or I would've jumped on this earlier!
I loved Zahru! She was the perfect mix of adventurous-but-not-too-impetuous, and besides, what person wouldn't want a peek inside a magical royal palace with *gasp* cold soup? The pacing and world building were perfect - just enough to keep me curious and to keep the story going without dragging it down. I cannot wait to meet the princess and to see what happens with the two princes!
