Lost Arrow provided a thoroughly enjoyable visit to the world of science-fiction, making me wonder why I haven't spent as much time there as I used to. While it may not be Bradbury or Heinlein, it's entirely creditable, and shows the solid talent one would expect from an author that a quick google search shows is a top-tier creative expert by day.

The plotting is fast paced and unexpected, as the characters are put through their paces including engaging political intrigue, high stakes challenges, scientific mystery, romantic entanglement and existential crisis. This is all done so well that we actually care, a quality often found missing in the sci-fi genre. I'm glad I didn't miss this.
