The book has an interesting concept regarding the interactions between aliens and humans. The narrative jumps back and forth between the alien and the human perspective and at times was a bit confusing. Overall, the premise is interesting.

There are lots of twists and turns that leave one to ponder about life beyond Earth and our universe, which even non-sci-fi lovers are sure want to explore? Who are they? What are they? Are they dangerous or is it our species that we should fear?

The first book of the trilogy was more captivating than book two and three. For entertainment purposes and to fill the void for a light read, this triology is well worth your time. It's always good to step outside of your comfort zone and try out a new genre.
