Perhaps the only real sci-fi book I'm interested in
I'm terrified of the deep abyss of the ocean. When I scuba dive, I stare off into the abyss and shudder with thoughts of what else is down there. This first look gave me the shivers, and I am desperate to read the book now.
Sarah makes a discovery in the abyss. She brings it to her supervisors and they accuse her of photoshopping it. And Trin appears to be an alien lifeform, who's now discovered that the humans have discovered him. I think. I'm not sure, but this First Look is intriguing.
I like that Sarah smokes and studies rocks. I think she'll be a dichotomy. Geek vs. rebel.
