Love the combination of gritty realism and fantastic elements. Reads like a slightly noir procedural at first before diving into another world, and the combination of those elements sets up a fun, exciting plot that makes me want to keep turning the page (so to speak). So far the dialogue seems snappy and the characters we being set up to be three-dimensional, with unique personalities. Excited to read more!
