The plot sounds interesting but the way the story is told is a bit boring. The characters seem interesting enough, though. As someone who doesn't really read a lot of science fiction, I'm worried the story will become a bit too scientific for my liking. However, if the characters develop well and the plot remains interesting, I think I could really enjoy this book.
