The cover is amazing … the color and image definitely caught my eye and attention. The first few chapters tell a story about two worlds. One that is the human world where we meet Sarah who seems like a strong female character who is on a ship above the Pacific Ocean and the other world under the ocean in which we meet Trin, who is an incredibly smart analyst but he is 2000 years old. How can this be? He trains a lot but training for what exactly? And how are these two worlds collide together, makes me want to read more.
Both characters seem to stray for what is expected of them almost like rebels. So I am interested in seeing how these 2 rebels defy each of their cultures, because you know it is coming just from these chapter.
I was a little confused about the part when the gases were being described and trying to figure out how this plays into the story. And some of the wording gets a tad boring for me but I will definitely get a copy of these once they are in paperback or hard cover since I don't like reading ebooks. And I don't really like Sci-Fi, however this seems to have a nice balance of genres.
