Alice Vega and Caplan are back together again and on the case of the missing Janes. If their chemistry wasn't clear enough in the first book, it is even more intense in this one. I really like the new detective they indrucedand nick named McT, he fit in great with the duo. The story start off quick with two murders of young unidentified girls. At about halfway through the book it looks like the case will be wrapped up, but finding the missing Janes is just the beginning and the action keeps unfolding at break neck speed from here on out.
I like the way this one was written, how she mixed up the way she played out the case and how it changed just when you thought it would be wrapped up. I also like that we already new someone's the characters and that more depth was added to them while also introducing us to more great characters. The end was great, I liked how they left things a bit up in the air which means we will hopefully get to see Cap and Vega again.
