2.5 stars - which absolutely pains me to do as this was one of my most anticipated books for 2020 - I was counting down the days.
Having absolutely loved Two Girls Down by Louisa Luna previously, I was incredibly excited for the return of Alice Vega and Max. Unfortunately, this one just did not do it for me. The story was too long and the case itself lacked the excitement I found in the first case. I'll chalk this one up to a one off and check out Book 3 in the future, but this one just fell flat. Alice is still an awesome character despite the plot of this one not working for me and I am still excited to see where Luna takes this character in the future.
