I had actually never heard of this author or this series until this book. I saw the cover and then read what the book was about and I couldn’t wait to read it! I didn’t know at the time when I received this book that there was one before it, so of course I had to read that as well!
I loved the way the author told the story. She’s amazing at writing in a way that the reader is easily able to get into the story and the characters as well. When I was reading the book, I thought I’d figured out who it was. Boy, was I wrong! And I’m usually excellent at figuring this kind of stuff out from the very beginning!
The story was one of my favorite reads so far this year, and after this book, I can’t wait to see what the author has in store next!
