If I had known that this book was the second in a series, I would not have read this First Impression. Not having read the first book, I feel like a lot of details are being revealed about it and I'm concerned that the story is being spoiled.
All of that said, I was really enjoying this First Impression, and I'll go back and read the first book. This author is clearly skilled at portraying scenes and developing characters that have substance.
