I’ve never read any books by this author before but I’m a bit curious to look into her. I feel like so may crime fiction novels focus on a male main character, and here we have a smart, tough female leading the pack. I tend to avoid realistic fiction so I’m not so sure how I feel about the human trafficking aspect (tough content), but I like that it brings crime fiction into the modern world.
