Two turn offs- the first one cursing. I will never like it. I will never want it in the books I read. Especially not when it’s sprinkled into every sentence. It’s unnecessary and uncultured. Second, the thing is just dry. The entire first chapter is the author trying to weirdly introduce me to someone? But I never even here that character speak. Just a bunch of useless monologue.
