I'm not a big fan of fantasy, but I suppose this cover art captures those who are fans. The narration feels a bit stilted to me, but I don't read fantasy, so perhaps that's the writing style of this genre. There is a lot of description and no dialogue until page 14, so I'm not drawn in very quickly.
