I was guilty of judging this book by it's cover...but I am so glad that I gave it a chance. It was a great read!! I enjoyed it from start to finish! I have not listened to the pod casts but may give them a try after reading this book!!
I enjoyed the real-ness of both Adam and Caleb and the fact that the author took some hard topics and respectfully gave them a voice. I enjoyed the banter between characters and the way that the book was focused more on the actual characters than the relationship.
Adam has depression and the way that the author described his feelings was so accurate that the reader could feel it when he was at a low. Caleb can actually feel the feelings of others and the author describes this so well that the characters can feel the emotions as well. It was interesting to read the feelings as colors and to interpret them through the eyes of someone else.
I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to more by this author. A great debut and one that i highly recommend! Don't hesitate to add this one to your TBR list and add it soon!!
