Thank you to BookishFirst and the publisher for providing me a copy to review.

I adore "The Bright Sessions" podcast and was so excited to hear that my two favorite characters were getting their own book! So yes, I was extremely biased when going into this as I already knew about the characters and their story. I started listening to the podcast two years ago, thus some of the fine details of their relationship I forgot. Reading this book was like rereading an old favorite.

It was a different angle from the podcast as the book follows Caleb and Adam directly instead of just hearing Caleb talk about Adam and himself to Dr. Bright. This allowed me to have a deeper understanding of their characters, especially Adam who isn't a main character in the podcast.

I highly recommend this book (and the podcast) to anyone who wants a super cute, somewhat awkward love story.
