When I first saw the cover, I was intrigued but thought it looked a bit like every other YA Sci-Fi novel. However, from the excerpt and the description, this looks like a unique take on the genre. I'm intrigued to learn more about this world that the author has created. I have a lot of questions, such as what exactly makes an Atypical? Why is it so dangerous to be one? How does the existence of people like this affect the world? Caleb's type of "atypical" sounds really interesting, in particular, and I'm curious to see how the story of that unfolds!
