My first impression of The Infinite Noise was that it was unlike anything else I've read. The characters were distinct and their voices were well-developed. I'm not sure Caleb being an empath, one of the strongest ones his therapist has ever come across, was convincing enough, but I'm sure that would be addressed more throughout the novel. It's an intriguing start, but I'm not convinced it's my cup of tea.
