Buffy ep turned novel
Ever since the "Earshot" episode of Buffy (on the heels of the Columbine shooting), the idea of that level of hearing people's thoughts/feelings has intrigued and terrified me. From the start of this book, it seems like it's normalizing that feeling that we've never along (yet always alone), by making normal supernatural empathy. I think I'll likely add this book to my TBR list, even if I don't win it.
