Not sure about the pacing of this one, it was barely 25 pages before we've already got Caleb's Atypical empathy figured out with barely any tension leading up to it, and the introduction to Adam felt a bit forced. Not sure someone who seems to be routinely victimized by the popular/athletic crowd would spill so openly right out of the gate to Caleb, a champion football player.
