I very much enjoyed this one! I loved learning about the character's childhoods and then the event that changed their lives. I really enjoyed the style of writing where each of the main characters, Simon, Daniel, Varya, and Klara get their own section of the book. At first I wasn't sure about that method but it turned out to be an amazing way of breaking it all down. I loved reading about NYC in the 70's! NYC is one of my favorite places in the world. Although I knew that each one of the characters would die, it made me heartbroken each time I read the scene where it happened and the buildup to it happening. It was so interesting how Varya, the oldest sibling and the one who got the longest time lived. It was absolutely sad.
