Very different concept
I am so excited to rate this book. When I read the synopsis, I was very intrigued by the story and couldn't wait to read it. The story did not disappoint. I devoured it in a short weekend.
The telling of the story itself was very different than any other book I've read and well written. Each part of the book is in a different time point told from the point of view of a different sibling. The siblings stories intertwine at certain points as well. The story follows a chronological order, so even though each part is a different time period, it is easy to follow.
Each sibling's story was unique yet they are all tied together by the fortune teller. There is a good mix of tragedy, happiness, and suspense all weaved together. I couldn't put the book down because I needed to know what would happen, and how the story with the fortune teller would play out.
