I chose this book for its gorgeous cover, and it was a wonderful decision. Honestly I had no idea what I was getting into with this book, not even the genre. What a roller coaster, not knowing what I was getting myself into! I LOVED this story. It made me laugh, made me cry, made me examine my life and my choices - and made me wonder what I would do if I knew the exact date of my death.
The characters all have their faults and I honestly like them all (except one, but I won’t tell you whom bc I don’t want to influence - if there’s one thing The Immortalists taught me it is to avoid self-fulfilling prophecies!)
I will give a trigger warning for mistreatment of animals. I’m glad that was near the end because honestly if it happened earlier in the book, I wouldn’t have finished this excellent tale.
